The work involves the construction of: 1.New Build addition with structural slab on piles with wood frame structure and brick veneer. 2.Demolition of existing wastewater pumps and piping and replacement with all new pumps and process piping. 3.Electrical service upgrade from 120/208V 3-phase to 600V 3-phase. 4.Demolition of existing electrical service and replacement with new service and panels. 5.Installation of a new diesel standby generator and ATS (owner supplied with novation agreement in this contract). 6.Demolition of existing generator in building (salvage and turn over to owner). 7.Demolition of existing wooden stairs and metal support frames in dry well, replace with all new stainless steel/FRP stair system (engineered package supply). 8.Provide temporary backup power during generator switch over. 9.Provide temporary by-pass pumping for pump replacement stages. 10.Other miscellaneous facility demolition and retrofits. Interpret existing structures as being all existing pipes, ducts, ditches or other works forming a part of sewerage, drainage, water, telephone, electrical, gas or other utility systems as well as sidewalks, curbs, poles, fences, buildings and other manmade things that may be encountered during construction.
