Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Show Low, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Show Low is extending a request for proposals for the Headworks Building Reconstruction City of Show Low Project No. FM-1324, for the furnishing of all labor, material, transportation and services. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, design and construction of an engineered steel building at the City of Show Low wastewater treatment plant. This work shall take place at 1531 N 6th St, Show Low, Arizona, 85901. The scope of work is more specifically described as removal and disposal of the existing 34' by 27' building, constructing a new steel building of the same dimensions. The new building shall be constructed on the existing cast-in-place concrete foundation (as-builts available). The building shall also have 3 man doors, 1 roll-up door. The contractor shall assume that the equipment in the building shall remain operational during construction. There are electrical, plumbing and mechanical appurtenances that shall remain operational during demolition and construction, a new anchor bolt system shall also be installed. After the award of contract, the successful bidder shall submit complete, permittable plans for the building. The design shall meet all applicable Federal, State, and Local Codes. The building shall have minimum 26 gauge steel siding, 26 gauge metal roofing and a minimum of 1-inch of closed-cell spray foam insulation. The roof will have three, 4 foot by 5 foot hatches for removal of equipment. The contractor shall propose an insulation system that will seal the steel to assist in corrosion protection from the potentially corrosive environment in the building.
