The Work is generally described as follows A. Mobilization to the site and demobilization from the site. B. Providing all required bonds. C. Provide notifications of road closures to property owners along each road. D. Furnishing and placing emulsified asphalt to the roads outlined in the drawings and as requested by OWNER. E. Furnishing and placing aggregate cover to the roads outlined in the drawings and as requested by OWNER. F. Furnishing and placing bituminous flush coat to the roads outlined in the drawings and as requested by OWNER. G. Furnishing and placing temporary pavement markings. A. The above explanation is intended to give a general understanding of the scope of the Work under these specifications, and shall not be construed to be an itemized listing of each element of work required. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for complete construction conforming in all respects to the details and requirements of the specifications, drawings, and other contract documents. Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF MOAB, (OWNER) will accept bids for the construction of the 2023 ROADWAY CHIP SEAL COAT PROJECT according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by OWNER/ENGINEER (CITY OF MOAB) described in general as: Furnishing and placing emulsified asphalt, aggregate cover, and bituminous flush coat materials, and completing temporary and permanent pavement markings on several roads throughout the City of Moab as presented in the plans prepared by OWNER and described in the bidding documents and technical specifications prepared by City of Moab.
