Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Huff Township, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Board of County Commissioners for the County of Spencer, Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the design build to include removal and construction of County Bridge No.152 over Anderson River on CR 1300N. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. It is the intent of this document to explain the scope of work and it is intended that the bidder provide the pricing for the complete and total amount of the work in its entirety. Any omission of materials or work in this narrative that is needed to complete the bridge in its entirety shall be considered incidental to the work and the successful bidder will be required to complete this work as a part of the total bid price. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal form furnished to bidders. A certified check, bank draft, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Contractor awarded the work will be required to furnish an acceptable Surety Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding.
