Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Little Elm, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Little Elm is accepting bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering and Clarifier Improvments. BY RESPONDING TO THIS BID, CONTRACTOR AGREES TO ALL REQUIREMENTS CONTAINED WITHIN THE INCLUDED BID DOCUMENTS. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%), from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute required bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bid bond may be scanned and uploaded with electronic offer, or delivered sealed hardcopy. Bid bond MUST be received PRIOR to bid opening, regardless of delivery. All questions during the bid process shall be submitted via IonWave for response. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Demolish existing belt filter press, maintenance platform, control panel, FRP foul air hood, washwater booster pump, polymer feed system, structural containment, and other incidentals. 2. Furnish and install two new volute dewatering press units in the existing dewatering building. 3. Furnish and install two new shaftless screw conveyors in the existing dewatering building and dumpster building. 4. Furnish and install two new polymer feed skids in the existing dewatering building. 5. Furnish and install a new sludge transfer line from the sludge pumping building to the dewatering building. 6. Modify the power distribution for the new equipment. 7. Modify the controls of the existing sludge transfer pumps. 8. Integration of controls for the between the new dewatering system and the existing sludge transfer pump control panels. 9. Demolish existing Clarifier No. 1 mechanism, service platform, access bridge, and other incidentals. 10. Furnish and install new clarifier mechanism at Clarifier No. 1 including service platform, access bridge and other incidentals. 11. Integration modifications to the plant SCADA system. 12. Coordination with the volute dewatering press and clarifier mechanism manufacturers for installation assistance, start-up, and training services.
