Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in South Gate, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and theater / auditorium.

Per the owner, as of September 26, 2024, the project was halted at 50% design due to the City changing priorities and shifting the available budget to other priorities. The owner states that the project is now on indefinite hold. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .......... The City of South Gate is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide energy assessments at four essential City facilities, followed by development of plans, specifications and estimate to upgrade their emergency backup generators in accordance with the findings of the energy assessments and as directed by the City. The four City facilities are: City of South Gate Police Department City of South Gate City Hall Public Works Maintenance Yard South Gate Park Auditorium For questions regarding this RFP, please contact Charles Herbertson, Project Manager, by phone at (323) 357- 9614 or by email at cherbertson@sogate.org. The preliminary engineering for this project is funded by $350,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Construction funding in the amount of $1.75 million in ARPA funds has been budgeted in FY 2023/23. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
