Renovation of a parking garage in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This project includes rehabilitation efforts for both the daily and hourly parking garages located at Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). The work includes performance of miscellaneous structural improvements and some miscellaneous maintenance improvements that limit the impact of garage parking/rental operations. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Authority has determined that NO SBE/DBE participation goals will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity. This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-872 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from: Jacobs 200 W.
