Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable without any conditional endorsement, as guarantee that if awarded the bid. the successful bidder will execute a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, the bidder shall forfeit the deposit. No interest shall be allowed upon any certified check. The Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid received, and to reject any and/or all bids as in its judgment may best serve the interest of the Authority. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of law including, but not limited to, the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A.52:25-24.2 (Disclosure of Ownership), N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (New Jersey Business Registration), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (New Jersey Prevailing Wage) and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 (Public Works Contractor Registration).
