Renovation of a medical facility in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The RH Lab HVAC Grossing Station Upgrade project was identified to have issues in the Grossing Lab station on the second floor of the South Tower in Room 2518. The issues identified by clinical were that the existing grossing station needs to be replaced as it was not working to its full capacity, there is a release of harmful gaseous accumulation in the lab, and the reducing pressure backflow preventers were not working due to it being installed incorrectly. Project scope includes the removal and installation of a new grossing station, demolishing the existing ductwork, installation of a new upsized fan on the roof, new VAVs for flow control, duct work, electrical and structural work.
