Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McLean, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The County is seeking a qualified contractor for the construction services of the North Glebe Road Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Improvements (the "Project"). The project will consist of the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of N Glebe Rd./Chain Bridge Road. The project will also install a reversible lane control system to improve safety for vehicles approaching and traveling over the bridge. Work will include construction of minor pedestrian ramp improvements, pavement marking and signing, erosion, and sediment controls, signalization and lane control upgrades, integration with DDOT signals, utility work, and all other related incidental work described and required in the contract documents. Bid Surety in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the award will be required of the successful bidder SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION - 225 CALENDAR DAYS FINAL COMPLETION - 45 CALENDAR DAYS FROM SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION
