Notice is hereby given that RHA seeks to engage a qualified firm to provide General Contractor Services for new construction on a 15-unit apartment complex located at 419 10th Street, Sparks, NV 89431. IFB documents may be obtained on DemandStar. RHA link to DemandStar is found on the RHA website Bid Bond: Each bidder is required to include a bid guarantee equivalent to five percent (5%) of the bid price. Payment Bond: After award of contract, Contactor must furnish payment bond for 100% of the contract price. Performance Bond: After award of contract, Contactor must furnish performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Notice to Proceed October 2023 - January 2024 The Reno Housing Authority is purchasing a vacant lot, 0.32 acres (14,000 sq/ft) in size, located at 419 10th Street, Sparks, NV, 89431 (APN: 032-142-22). The RHA will be using HUD Moving to Work (MTW) Block Grant, HOME, and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to purchase and construct the project. The RHA may use other Federal, State, or local funds if available. The parcel is located in the MUD-RN (Mixed Use District - Residential Neighborhood) zoning district. The surrounding properties are single family and multi-family residential units.
