Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for completion of the improvements to four existing welded steel potable water tanks in the TMWA distribution systemDouble Diamond 1 is a 1.0-million-gallon tank; Northeast Sparks 1 is a 3.0-million-gallon tank; STMGID 4 is a 0.74-million-gallon tank; and Hidden Valley 2 is a 0.5-million-gallon tank. Work will require selective demolition; steel fabrication; modifications to meet NAC requirements; blasting and coating; modifications of the Northeast Sparks 1 tank altitude valve vault; replacement of the STMGID 4 overflow pipe; replacement of the Hidden Valley 2 roof; various site work; and electrical and controls work. RANGE FOR ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $5,274,900 - $6,447,100 Question Cuttoff Date & Time 9/8/2023 05:00:00 PM (ET) The three additional tanks may be visited as time and interest governs. These are optional site visits. There will not be a public bid opening as bids are opened electronically. Bid results and the bid tabulation will be posted on NGEM and bidders will be notified electronically of the results. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder.
