The Town of Hamden is looking for a vendor to complete the necessary investigations, public engagement, and design work to develop final design plans, specifications, and provide design services during construction for the construction of a new Firehouse 2 and supporting structures. The new building and supporting structures will be located at 466 Putnam Ave, Hamden CT 06517. The parcel has been vacant for several years. Funding will be provided by CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protect Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. It is the sole responsibility of the responder to see that the proposal is in the hands of the proper authority prior to the opening. The last day to submit questions to purchasing@hamden.com is Friday, September 8, 2023, at 12:00PM. The Town of Hamden reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids, or proposals; to waive any technicality in a bid or part thereof submitted, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Hamden.
