Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Princeton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the owner that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein. The contractor shall provide an insurance document stating that the contractor has a minimum of $1,000,000 liability coverage A. The contractor shall furnish and install a complete 70' x 100' post frame or steel frame building. B. Building will have a complete foundation per building manufacturers requirements. C. The contractor shall base his bid price on the equipment specified. Substitute equipment will be considered for one reason only: that the equipment proposed for substitution is superior or equal in construction and efficiency to that described in the specifications. D. If, prior to the execution of the contract, the city's approval is obtained for alternate equipment, the contractor shall, at his own expense, make any changes in the structures, building necessary to accommodate the equipment and if engineering is required due to substitution of other material, the contractor shall pay the engineer for the engineering services (all of which will be subject to the city's approval). 2.00 CONSTRUCTION A. The Pre-Engineered building must come from a company with a minimum 5 yrs documented experience. B. The building shall have 19' sidewall and minimum 4/12 roof pitch with 12" overhang C. The building shall meet or exceed local building codes D. All electric and plumbing work will be done by others. E. Concrete floors will be installed at a later date F. Building will have in floor heat installed at a later date. G. Interior side wall lining will be installed at a later date. H. Interior partition wall will be installed at a later date. I. Exterior siding, roof and trim colors to be determined based on successful bidders color options. J. Site work and foundation excavation will be provided by the City of Princeton. 2.30 BUILDING SPECIFICATION: A. Foundation shall be minimum 48" below grade B. Posts will be laminated and pressure treated lumber C. Metal siding shall be minimum 26 gauge and all panels will be one piece. D. Steel panels will have minimum 40 year warranty E. Roof can be either seamless / hidden fastener metal or sheeting, synthetic underlayment, and exposed screw metal. F. Fascia will be 2" x 6" G. Roof will have snow/ice retention H. Building will have gutter and down spouts I. Building will have house wrap installed on outside walls J. Walls will have minimum R19 spray foam or spray foam fiberglass combination. K. Ceiling will have minimum R38 insulation L. Provide and install 2 - 24' x 16' insulated overhead door per drawing. M. Provide and install 6 - 48" wide by 48" high sliding window per drawing. N. Provide and install 2 - 36' wide by 80" high commercial grade walk door per drawing O. Frame and install provided exhaust fan as shown on drawing. P. Install top plate in ceiling for future interior partition wall Q. Ceiling lined with white metal panels. R. Trim ceiling liner to accept future wall lining. S. Soffits shall be vented along with attic vents.
