The project will provide paved shoulders along Sequoia Avenue, Cedar Street, Laurel Street and Chestnut Street, as well as sidewalk along segments of Sequoia Avenue, Daphne Street and Pine Street. Circulation and safety improvements will also include the installation of designated curb-side drop-off/pick-up zones along the school frontage on Sequoia Avenue and Pine Street, as well as a pedestrian-actuated flashing beacon at the intersection of Pine Street and Daphne Street. This project is included in the Calaveras County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of November 20, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
