The City of Santa Clara (hereinafter "City") is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to design, fabricate, and deliver galvanized tubular steel structures, complete with anchor bolt assemblies, in support of Silicon Valley Power (SVP), the City's utility. Bidders that the City deems to be responsive and responsible through this Request for Bids process will be considered as approved suppliers (Contractor) for steel transmission poles, and will be eligible for award for five (5) years from the date of the initial award. The City's best estimate of the quantity that will be purchased over the next five (5) years is 130 steel transmission poles. Question Deadline: 08/18/2023 at 1:00 PM PT A payment bond is required. A Performance bond is required. There are prevailing wage requirements. The City reserves the right to resolicit by issuing a new RFB or cancel the solicitation at any time prior to agreement award and not award an agreement.
