Renovation of an educational facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
UNLV seeks proposals for installation of four (4) new air handling units (AHUs aka RTUs) and associated equipment at SLC D building. The scope of work and materials includes removing and disposing of four (4) existing RTUs on the roof of SLC D and installing four new RTUs provided by UNLV SLC via contract, all associated ancillary equipment, and connecting ductwork and controls for a complete operational package at SLC D as well as applicable testing and balancing, training, and commissioning. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount ("Bid Security"). Sample 100% Payment Bond (Labor and Material), Sample 100% Performance Bond. Demolition will begin on Monday, November 27, 2023. Installation must be completed by Friday, December 22, 2023. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $1,500.00 per day will be levied for each day the project is not completed after the required Project Completion Date. UNLV reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive minor irregularities and omissions, whereby the best interests of the Nevada System of Higher Education would be served.
