The project will improve the concrete pavement of the Interstate Route H-1 in the vicinity of the Pearl City Viaduct to the Waimalu Viaduct between milepost 9.20 to 10.23 and 11.25 to 11.49. The scope of work consists of concrete deck and deck expansion joint repairs; installation of pavement markings, hybrid polymer concrete overlay, surface treatment, and sealer; steel grates repairs; installation and monitoring of temporary best management practices; and traffic control. The estimated cost of construction is between $45,000,000 and $50,000,000.
