Construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of Ustick Road and Montana Avenue. Bidder is responsible for (but not limited to) all earthwork, export and import of materials, curb, gutter, sidewalk, ADA ramps, underground traffic signal conduit and wiring, utility coordination, traffic signal concrete base and footing improvements, erection of all traffic signal materials, storm drainage and other miscellaneous surface improvements, and anything else necessary to complete the work depicted within the project drawings, special provisions and these contract documents in order to provide a fully functioning and complete traffic signal. Bidder shall retain two-way traffic on Ustick Road and Montana Avenue throughout the duration of the project. Night work may be necessary to complete this work within the contracted time frame and to keep two-traffic intact. Action will be taken by the City within thirty (30) days of the opening date and the successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract with the City within ten (10)days after Notice of Acceptance of his bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid, which will be forfeited to the City if the bidder fails to enter into the contract. Checks of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately following the award of the contract or 30 days after opening, if no award is made. All contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works License and to include the number on their submitted Bid. Payment and Performance Bonds equal to the bid amount are required upon award of Contract. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids not in the best interest of the City Question Deadline: 5/31/24 at 2:00 PM project will be substantially complete by August 13, 2024 and final completion shall be complete by August 31, 2024
