Project NUmber & Phase: 0518000229 This project, generally described, consists of installation of 11 gateway monument signs and 7 community wayfinding signs in various locations on state highways throughout Calaveras County. Three (3) additional gateway monuments are listed as additive alternate (add alt). Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a possess a valid California Class A contractors license, or a combination of the following classes: C-8 Concrete Contractor, C-12 Earthwork and Paving Contractor, D-42 Sign Installation Contractor, D-63 Construction Cleanup Contractor, and all other classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract at the time of the bid award. All licenses must remain in effect throughout the term of this contract. Bids must be accompanied by bidders security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
