Renovation of a civil project in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Complete tear-off and replacements on the Gas Metering Building, Sludge Processing Building and South McCollister Pump Station. Miscellaneous repairs will be completed on the Influent Pump Station, Grit Dewatering Building, Blower Building, and Sludge Pump Building located at the Wastewater Treatment Facility, 4366 Napoleon Street SE, Iowa City Iowa 52246 and South McCollister Pump Station, 396 McCollister Boulevard, Iowa City, Iowa, 52246 The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and in the form shown in Section 00 61 10, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City, and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and also protect and save harmless the City from all claims and damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by the operation of the contract, and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement for a period of One (1) year(s) from and after its completion and formal acceptance by the City Council. Substantial Completion: December 22, 2023 Final Completion: January 22, 2024 Liquidated Damages: $240 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
