Bids to supply all labour, material and equipment to complete the whole of the work in the strict conformance with the specifications and tender form, and MECP requirements as set out in Regulation 347, of the Environmental Protection Act. Hauling volumes and disposal locations will be determined at the discretion of the County which will depend on the amount of precipitation that infiltrates the landfill, as well as the ability of the WWTPs to treat the leachate. The County cannot guarantee the leachate volumes. The Service Provider shall not make any claims whatsoever should the quantity of leachate be reduced, increased or if haulage is temporarily suspended or redirected to another WWTP. The Contractor shall commence work under the Contract on or about Monday, January 1, 2024 The term of the Contract is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of the Owner to extend the Contract on the same terms and conditions for an additional two ( 2) terms term(s) of up to one (1) year each, pending annual budget approval.
