Storm Damage Roof Repairs Lake Guntersville State Park The work shall generally consist of roof repairs on ten buildings. All work shall be done under applicable State Laws. Scope of Work for this project can be found on the Alabama State Parks website: https://www.alapark.com/construction-permits-easement-and-research-applications. Look under CURRENT INVITIATIONS TO BID for the Project Name. The SOW, Plans and Specs can be downloaded from the website. If you have further questions, please email dennis.grooms@dcnr.alabama.gov. Requests should be made as soon as possible, but at least 72 hours prior to scheduled meetings or site visits. Contractor shall remove existing roof system to decking and dispose of properly Repairs to and /or replacement of deteriorated roof decking, rafters, fascia, or any other wood under roofing. Replacement panels shall be plywood with exterior glue to match existing thickness. OSB or other wafer type sheathing shall not be used except where OSB is present. If wood is replaced and is exposed to the elements, paint new wood to match existing. Furnish and install all required pipe boots, flashing and seal all roof penetrations per manufacturer's specifications. The work shall generally consist of roof repairs on ten buildings. All work shall be done under applicable State Laws.
