Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ironton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work on this Project includes the construction of a storm sewer system, roadway curbs, roadway paving and appurtenances. Federal Davis-Bacon Wage rates are required on this project. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its submission of the fully completed Bid Documents, a Bid Security in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form (Bid Guarantee and Contract and Performance Bond as provided in Section 153.57.1 of the Ohio Revised Code), must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Those Bidders that elect to submit bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the beneficiary OWNER. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract. Bidders must comply with the prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates on Public Improvements in Lawrence County as determined by the U.S. Department of labor, Federal Wage and Hour Division. The City of Ironton reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities. The City of Ironton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
