Site work for a water / sewer project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This contract includes replacement of the existing 250,000-gallon No. 2 Fuel Oil Tank with a significantly smaller storage tank (12,000-gallon double-wall vertical tank); removal of tanks and silos that are no longer in use at ALCOSAN (12,000-gallon Diesel Fuel Tank; 7,000-gallon Hydrogen Peroxide Tank, 6,000-gallon Defoamer Tank and concrete block containment areas, and three (3) storage silos on the roof of the Old Lime Building (Bldg. 401); replacement of damaged roof system on Old Lime Building following removal of the 3 storage silos; and demolition of the containment walls of the existing 250,000-gallon No. 2 Fuel Oil Storage Tank. Bid Security shall be furnished by providing with the Bid a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price. Contract documents must be purchased directly from ALCOSAN to qualify as an eligible bidder.
