Per Addendum 3- New Bid Date The estimated cost of the project is: $674,000. RESPONSIBILITY AND COMPLIANCE A. The "Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor", AIA. Document A101, 2017 Edition - Electronic Format, as published by The American Institute of Architects, together with all Amendments and Supplements as hereinbefore listed, shall apply and are hereby made a part of this section of the Specifications. B. The Sections of these Specifications entitled "Special Conditions", "Minimum Wage Determination", and Division 01 "General Requirements" shall apply and are hereby made a part of this section of the Specifications. 1.02 LOCATION OF WORK A. The work of this Contract shall be performed at the Thoreau Elementary School, 29 Prairie Street, Concord, Massachusetts 01742. 1.03 GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK A. The work to be done under this contract consists of the following: 1. Contractor shall visit the site prior to commencement of work to coordinate work with Town of Concord Public Schools, the Awarding Authority. 2. HVAC: a. Removal of existing air-cooled condensing units ACCU-1, energy recovery unit, ERU-1, ERU-2, ERU-3, ERU-4, ERU-5, ERU-6, DX cooling, coils, ductwork, interconnecting refrigerant piping, automatic temperature controls and appurtenances for the installation of new energy recovery units ERU-1, ERU-2, ERU-3, ERU-4, ERU-5, and ERU-6. b. Installation of energy recovery units ERU-1, ERU-2, ERU-3, ERU-4, ERU-5, ERU-6, ductwork, piping, insulation, controls and appurtenances. c. Factory startup and commissioning of new unit and applicable controls. d. Electrical: Electrically disconnect all mechanical equipment indicated to be removed. New power wiring to new mechanical equipment. 3. Contractor shall final clean each work area upon completion and acceptance to the standards and specifications of Concord Public Schools. 4. All work shall be in strict conformance with all applicable code requirements No interpretation of the meaning of the Contract Documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretations shall be in writing and addressed to the BLW Engineers, Inc., P.O. Box 1551 - 311 Great Road, Littleton, MA 01460 or emailed to bidding@blwengineers.com to be given consideration, and must be received in the Engineer's office no later than 12:00 noon, six (6) calendar days (Saturdays and Sundays, and legal holidays excluded) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions pertaining to Bidders, will be in the form of written Addenda to the Contract Documents which, if issued, will be sent by email to all persons on record as having received a complete set of Contract Documents (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes). Such addenda will be mailed or faxed no later than 72 hours prior to time set of opening of bids.
