Site work for a power facility in Wauchula, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
The City of Wauchula, a municipal corporation, seeks the submittal of proposals from qualified firms who are interested in assisting with the reconductor and rebuild of approximately seven (7) miles of overhead three-phase construction. Construction includes: Installation of approximately 150 wood poles of three-phase construction and the required equipment to continue feeding customers along the route. Installation of 33,170-feet of 336 ACSR three-phase. Removal/Topping of 153 poles, framing and equipment. Removal of 35,160-feet of ACSR and/or #6 CU conductor. The delivery of the submittal on the above date and prior to the specified time is solely the responsibility of the proposer. The submittal may be withdrawn only by written notice to the City Clerk, at any time prior to the above submittal deadline. Interested parties are invited to submit one (1) original marked "ORIGINAL" and one (1) copy marked "COPY" of their proposal in a sealed envelope to the City Clerk. The envelope should be labeled "Bid for Wauchula 13.2KV Distribution Line Reconductor & Rebuild" and marked with the respondent's name and address Questions regarding this proposal must be in writing and must be sent to Anthony Hanson, Engineer, email: ahanson@pdengineers.com. All questions must be received by September 1, 2023.
