Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Searcy, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Milling and overlay of existing curb and gutter sections, overlay of existing pavement, and repair of street sections The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within thirty (30) days following the opening of bids. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five per cent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Searcy, Arkansas or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The City of Searcy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the city's best interest.
