Site work and renovation of a civil project in Salina, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Salina City Wastewater Improvements Project includes the replacement of approximately 44,000 feet of sewer main pipe with associated manholes, service stubs, and cleanouts. The project also includes upgrades to the existing lift station, and a new lagoon headhouse with screening, metering, and appurtenances. This project is funded by Community Impact Fund Board. The ENGINEER for this Contract will be Sunrise Engineering, Incorporated and they will be represented by Mario Gonzalez, P.E. as Project Engineer. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest responsible, responsive BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the PAYMENT BOND and PERFORMANCE BOND have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. A PERFORMANCE BOND and a PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this Contract on or before a date specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED and to fully complete the CONTRACT within 450 consecutive calendar days thereafter. BIDDER further agrees to pay liquidated damages, the sum of $ 1,200, for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in Section 15 of the GENERAL CONDITIONS. This BID will remain open for sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid Opening. If awarded the Contract, the BIDDER will sign the Agreement and submit the security and the other documents required by the CONTRACT within ten (10) days after the date of the OWNER'S "Notice of Award".
