To furnish the City's requirement for ready mix concrete class "A" and class "C11 and slurry mix on an "as requested" basis by the Public Works Department. A second purchase order may be awarded to the second lowest responsible bidder. The second purchase order will be used at the City's discretion in the event of an emergency and the primary vendor is unable to deliver the goods being requested in a timely manner. Courteous, professional service and prompt deliveries are required each time a load of concrete or slurry mix is ordered by the City of Torrance. Vendor must recover and return any leftover rinsed material. The City of Torrance will have the option to return any concrete or slurry mix, which does not meet the City of Torrance specifications. Any costs or damages sustained directly or indirectly by the City because of unsatisfactory concrete or slurry mix will be paid by the Vendor.
