Working plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Each bid must include Bid Security, a certified check, bank check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state of PA, in the amount of 10% of the total contract amount, including all add alternates, payable to Souderton Borough. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder with a corporate surety approved by Souderton Borough. Bidding will be public, utilize Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor and Industry and be received in One (1) Prime Bid for the Building Additions and Renovations. The bid shall include all General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing Construction. The Project falls under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012, 43 P.S. A 167.1, which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government a EUR(TM)s E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States.
