The contract has not been awarded as of yet.* furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for the Cresthaven Homes Waste Water Treatment Plant Aeration Tank and Clarifier Lining Project in Elyria Township in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the office of Ken Carney, Lorain County Sanitary Engineer. The work consists of cleaning and applying a tank liner to the aeration tanks and final clarifiers of the Cresthaven Homes Waste Water Treatment Plant. The Cresthaven Homes WWTP provides sanitary treatment for up to 100,000 GPD for 186 single family homes. All interested parties are welcome to attend the bid opening to be held immediately following the deadline, in the Lorain County Commissioners Public Hearing Room-D. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal shall contain the full name or names of persons and company submitting the proposal and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked Cresthaven Homes WWTP Aeration Tank and Clarifier Lining Project.
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. Any interpretation, correction or modification to the specifications desired shall be in writing to Jeff Armbruster, County Administrator, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening.
