Site work and paving for a road / highway in Essex Jct, Vermont. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of September, 2023 , this project has been cancelled and no definite date for the rebid.** Road Crack Sealing All questions related to this Invitation To Bid shall be directed to the Town Staff Engineer, Daniel Gregoire, E.I., 81 Main Street, Essex Junction, VT 05452. Phone (802) 878-1344, or email at dgregoire@essex.org. Other than very routine questions, all questions will be answered in writing and distributed to all prospective contractors. The following 12 paved road segments and parking areas, totaling approximately 6.15 lane miles are to receive a crack seal surface treatment. The lane miles listed for each road are approximate only and the Contractor shall be responsible to visit each location to verify total length and required work effort for pricing. Please refer to the location maps attached for locations of each of the road sections. Areas ofwork are highlighted in yellow on the location maps. The work involves the preparation and crack sealing of the road sections areas listed above. The Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, and materials necessary to complete the work in conformance with State, Local, and industry standards. The work is to be bid on a Lump Sum basis for each road segment shown. Please see the attached locations maps provided for all roads segment to be crack sealed.
