Demolition, site work and renovation of a library in North Andover, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a library; for the demolition of a library; and for the renovation of a library.
SCOPE OF WORK includes: Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to demolish the existing entrance stairway and install a new stair structure and patio landing. All Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority, 120 Main Street, North Andover, MA 01845, accompanied by the bid deposit previous to the time named for opening of bid. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any and all bids, If it be in the Public Interest to do so. BIDDERS are hereby notified that bid deposits must be 5 percent of his/ her bid, and shall be in the form of a bid bond, cash, or certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check, bid bond of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and satisfactory to the Town Clerk made payable to the Town of North Andover. Payment and Performance Bonds, of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and satisfactory to the Town and each in the sum of 100 percent of the contract price, as well as certain public liability and property damage insurance, will be required of the successful general contractor. DCAMM Certification is required for the project. General Bidder's Category of Certification: Masonry Filed sub-bids will be received for the following categories of work: Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron
