Completion Date: Nov. 15, 2023 This project consists of the reconstruction improvements to Main Avenue between Lesh Drive and 5th Street in Pierce, CO. The construction will involve the (3,082 SY) removal of asphalt pavement, installing 3,619 SY of A.B.C. (6" Cl. 6), 3,619 SY of H.M.A. (5"GR. S & SX) asphalt pavement, 33 SY of Concrete Cross Pan,114 SY of Asphalt Milling and Overlay (2") and other miscellaneous work. The Work, once started, will be substantially completed within 21 Days consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 7 Days consecutive calendar days past substantial completion. All work shall be completed no later than November 15, 2023. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Pierce negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount.
