Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Youngstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,800-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October 27, 2023, project was awarded to Integra Excavating, awarded amount is $367,273.10. Lowellville Riverfront Pavilion Project primarily includes site prep for pavilion and parking area, pavilion construction with associated utility connections. Bids shall be based on a unit price basis as shown in the Form of Proposal. A bid guaranty is required per Ohio either certified check representing ten percent (10%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to Mahoning County CIC, or a bid bond in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be a performance/payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio must be accompanied by proper certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio. This project is being funded with Federal dollars. The contractor and their subcontractors shall comply with the appropriate minimum prevailing wages set forth by the federal Davis Bacon Act. The Mahoning County CIC shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Any work shown on the plans or required in the specifications but not paid for separately as a bid item shall be included in the cost ofother bid items. The amount bid for each Bid Item shall include the following: For all BASE and ALTERNATE BID items, all work proposed by this contract shall be undertaken in accordance with the pertinent O.D.O.T. specifications except as specifically altered by other provisions ofthis contract. No slag or recycled materials, including recycled asphalt products (RAP), are permitted for use for any aspect ofthis project. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary forthe proper execution ofthe work in accordance with the Contract Documents. All assistance required by the Engineerto verify compliance with the Contract Documents, including measuring for final pay quantities. Project coordination and scheduling. Detailed breakdown oflump sum bid items as requested by the Engineer. All provisions necessary to protect workmen, the general public, and property along the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Protection and/or replacement of existing property comer monuments. Record drawings of the installed location of all underground electrical conduit, sewers, tees, wyes, laterals, etc. Erosion and sedimentation controls. Materials testing. Reimbursement to Owner for costs ofre-inspection or re-testing of any work not installed in compliance with the Contract Documents. Construction staking ofthe improvements. Pavilion Base Bid project consists of constructing: 1500 SF pavilion on 2400 SF concrete pad, 970 SF concrete sidewalk 1750 SY of aggregate parking lot reconstruction. Asphalt Alternate Bid project consists of: 330 CY of asphalt overlay (parking lot and roadway extension)
