Halfacre Construction hereby solicits Bids from qualified suppliers for Sarasota Countys New Planning and Development Services One Stop Facility. Cut-off date for RFI questions is September 14, 2023, at 5:00PM No bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any formalities, technicalities, or irregularities in; or reject any or all bids; or to re-advertise for bids and award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the work. Halfacre Construction, on behalf of Sarasota County, in accordance with the provisions of Section 287.133, Florida Statutes shall affirm that A person of affiliate who has been placed on the convicted Vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, any may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list." Direct Purchase Program: The Owner is Tax Exempt. The Owner intends to execute an owner direct purchase order (DPO) program for the bid items purchased within this bid package. Please INCLUDE all sales taxes within your bid.
