Replace two CT-Sim equipment at the BC Cancer - Kelowna. The building is located on 399 Royal Ave, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3. The CT Sim equipment being replaced is currently located in the following rooms: Room #1305-CT1, control room #1306; Room #1303-CT2, control rooms #1302 and #1302A . TIMELINE: Request for Proposal to engage a prime architect to manage all disciplines required by the project for design and construction documents, construction tender and construction contract administration has closed. A preferred proponent information has yet to be disclosed. A general contractor will be engaged for the implementation/construction phase. Equipment will be supplied by GE Healthcare. Equipment removal, delivery and installation are part of the project. The project will be implemented in sequence as follow: a. Prime Architect consultant procurement for CT1 and CT2 (design and construction documents, tender, construction). b. Design and Construction documents for CT1 and CT2 c. Class C cost estimate (50% drawings), preliminary construction budget (Quantity Surveyor will be engaged by PHSA). d. General Contractor procurement for CT1 and CT2. e. Implementation/Construction for CT1 (including removal of old equipment, delivery and installation of new equipment and commissioning). There will be time allocated to confirm CT1 operation before the CT2 is out of service. f. Implementation/Construction for CT2 (including removal of old equipment, delivery and installation of new equipment and commissioning).
