GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: 1485 LF 8-inch PVC Water Pipe 6577 LF 8-inch Ductile Iron Water Pipe 13 EA 8-inch Gate Valves 1 EA 8-inch Cut-In Gate Valve 1503 LF 8" Sanitary Sewer Pipe 178 LF 8-inch Sewer Pipe, CLSM Backfill 45 LF 8-inch DIP Sewer Pipe, CSS Backfill 558 LF 8-inch DIP Sewer Pipe 752 LF 6-inch to 8-inch Pipe Enlargement 699 LF 6-inch CIPP Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the city at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 3 of 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.
