**As of October 05, 2023, , the project has not yet been awarded. It is anticipated to be awarded by the end of this month. Each prequalified General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of their Bid. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $5,300 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $5,300.00 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion. Bidders are encouraged to submit questions via email. Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Jose Lovell, PE, email jlovell@kleinfelder.com. The Owner and Engineer assumes no liability for assuring accurate/complete email transmission/receipt and is not responsible to acknowledge receipt. Inquires must be submitted in writing, citing the Project and RFB Number in the title, and received no later than September 5, 2023, at 9:00 AM.
