Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dennis, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The prospective bidder shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the reclamation of the existing road, including grading and compaction of the reclaimed base, installation of additional stone base, installation of hot mix asphalt binder course and hot mix asphalt top course, installation of new drainage structures, restoration of road edges, and paving of driveway aprons to match the roadway grade. All repair work and traffic management shall be performed in accordance with the design plans and specifications Minimum Wage Rates, as established by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, shall be in effect for this project. The Town of Dennis reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to make the award as may be determined to be in the best interest of the Town. All questions by prospective bidders as to any information contained within this bid package shall be directed to Chris Wickson, Civil Engineer, 120 Theophilus Smith Road, South Dennis, MA 02660, (508) 760-6166, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Any addendum to this bid will be sent by mail, fax, or e-mail to all perspective bidders who requested specifications.
