As of May 9, 2024, the awarded construction manager has released this project for final pricing. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The new Bryan Texas Utilities Backup Control Center is to be constructed at 21325 Kathy Fleming Rd., College Station, TX. The scope of work for the BTU Control Center - Millican will be for the following trades and will include but not limited to: CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE, CONCRETE BLOCKING OR ANCHORAGE, CAVITY WALL UNIT MASONRY, COLD FORMED METAL FRAMING, METAL FABRICATIONS, ROUGH CARPENTRY, FINISH CARPENTRY AND MILLWORK, ARCHITECTURAL WOOD CASEWORK, FLUID-APPLIED WATERPROOFING, THERMAL INSULATION, FLUID-APPLIED MEMBRANE AIR BARRIERS - DOW, POLYVINYL-CHLORIDE FLEECEBACK ROOFING, ROOF RELATED SHEET METAL, JOINT SEALANTS, EXPANSION CONTROL, HOLLOW METAL DOORS AND FRAMES, PLASTIC LAMINATE FACED WOOD DOORS, GYPSUM WALLBOARD SYSTEMS, PORCELAIN TILE, ACOUSTICAL LAY-IN CEILING, RESILIENT FLOORING, PAINTING AND STAINING, INTERIOR PAINTING, TOILET ROOM ACCESSORIES, FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND CABINETS, PLUMBING, COMMISSIONING OF PLUMBING, HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR-CONDITIONING, COMMISSIONING OF HVAC, ELECTRICAL, COMMISSIONING OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS, STRUCTURED CABLING SYSTEM, DATA CABLING, FIRE DETECTION AND ALARM, EARTHWORK, TERMITE CONTROL, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, CHAIN LINK FENCES AND GATES, LANDSCAPING, HYDRO MULCH SEEDING, and other related trades. CONSTRUCTION BUDGET: BTU has established Three Million and No /100 Dollars ($3,000,000.00) as the estimated construction budget for all the Work including alternates as described in the Drawings, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by the Architect. CONTRACT TIME: The times for Substantial Completion and Final Completion are set forth in the Construction Agreement (Attachment 2). By submission of a Proposal, each Offeror represents and warrants to BTU that such Completion dates are reasonable, and that Offeror is fully capable of completing construction of the Project by such Completion dates. Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed, construction is not expected to start prior to Summer 2024. The supplier/ subcontractor agree to direct all correspondence to the Contractor only, and agree that no correspondence will be directed either written or verbal to the Owner or Architect. All supplier/ subcontractor correspondence will go through Collier Construction. Subcontractor shall not contact the Owner, Architect or Engineers for any reason without prior written consent from Collier construction. Collier and the Subcontractor agree that the primary and principal materials to be furnished and the primary and principal work to be done by the Subcontractor are as set forth in and contemplated by the described portions of the Drawings and Specifications or other documents and/or descriptions as set forth on EXHIBIT "A", entitled SCOPE OF WORK, said exhibit, inclusive of all its terms and conditions being hereby incorporated herein and made a part of this Subcontract for all intents and purposes.
