Truman has a construction project for the renovation of Kirk Building; a three-story building in the center of campus that will be undergoing some fairly extensive interior concrete and steel work as well as other work. Construction is in the beginning phase and the construction completion date is December of 2024. The architects are PGAV out of Kansas City and the general contractor is Prost Builders, Inc. out of Jefferson City. Tim Overstreet is the PGAV contact and Drew Wilde is the Prost contact. Some areas to note include but may not be limited to the following: The General Testing Requirements are primarily outlined in section 014000. Structural Steel & Concrete is primarily outlined in the general notes on sheet S100, but also referenced in Division 3 and Division 5 specifications. Brick Masonry Repair is primarily outlined in spec section 040120. Please provide what tests and inspections you will provide for the scope. Penetration Firestopping is primarily covered in spec section 078413. Acoustical Ceiling Suspension is primarily covered in spec section 095113.
