Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bids are invited for milling and paving of Glen Lyon Section: Church St., Rock St., Coal St., Spring St., Line St., Vine St, Sheatown Section: Logan St., Fair St., Fair Ln., Woodridge Dr., Stoney Ln., Wanamie Section: Center St. The work shall include maintenance and protection of traffic during construction Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. A Contract may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder at the next meeting of the Board of Commissioners. Contractors must also establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 0.6% goal for minority participation in the aggregate on-site construction work force for contracts in excess of $10,000 as per the notice of requirement for affirmation action as contained in the contract documents Newport Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and portions thereof or to waive informalities in the bidding.
