The City of Nanticoke is requesting proposals for the collection and disposal of municipal refuse, recycling, yard waste and white goods. Vendors must meet all municipal, state, and federal regulations associated with municipal waste removal at the time of the bid and continuously during the term of the contract, including any extensions, if exercised by the City. Questions concerning the bid package or requests to pick up the bid package in person should be directed to the Donna Wall, City Manager at 570-735-2800, Ext. 111 or dwall@nanticokecity.com. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the highest bid total for the first three years of the proposed contract amount(2024 through 2026). The City of Nanticoke reserves the right to waive any informality associated with this proposal. By submitting a proposal, the potential Bidder acknowledges that decisions concerning this proposal will be made in the best interests of the City of Nanticoke.
