Site work for a civil project in St Catharines, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of all labour, equipment and materials necessary for the complete restoration works within Briarsdale Creek between Woodcrest Drive and Briarsdale Drive downstream of a recreational trail crossing. The Work consists of two phases. Phase One is downstream channel and culvert restoration, and includes parging of concrete pipe joints, removal and replacement of the culvert outlet grate, removal of gabion existing gabion baskets, construction of armourstone retaining walls, grade control ribs, and scour pool, installation of guard rails, and vegetation plantings. Phase Two is storm sewer maintenance hole protection, and includes construction of a reinforced concrete wall, rip rap placement at the toe of the wall, recession and retrofitting of an existing CSP storm pipe, installation of guard rails, and vegetation plantings.
