BOARD MEETING APPROVAL: Monday, September 18, 2023, 6:00 p.m. CDT CONTRACT PERIOD: October 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024 Requests for information regarding matters of this Proposal should be directed to: Mr. Chad Thompson Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Henderson County Board of Education 1805 Second Street Henderson, Kentucky 42420 (270) 831-5000 chad.thompson@henderson.kyschools.us Henderson County Public Schools (HCS or Board) is requesting sealed bids for the items and/or services listed herein. You are invited to submit a sealed bid, subject to the terms and conditions of this request. Please read the instructions and specifications carefully. Please comply with these instructions to ensure your proposal is valid. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any deviations from the specifications that are considered of little consequence. The successful bidder agrees to have each employee who will work on school premises in the District submit to a national and state criminal history background check and have each employee obtain a letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect pursuant to the requirements of KRS 160.380(7). The successful bidder agrees to obtain this information at no additional cost to the District and shall supply this information to the District prior to each employee working on school premises in the District.
