In general, construction shall consist of installation of : Sanitary Sewer System Improvements: Submersible Lift Station Complete, 6,350 LF pre-construction cleaning & video, manhole rehabilitation, 3,340 LF 8" CIPP, 1,605 LF 10" CIPP, 765 LF pipe burst (6" VCP to 8" HDPE), sewer point repair, 57 EA sewer service replacement, 470 LF 10" Gravity Sewer Main, 70 LF 8" Gravity Sewer Main and additional items and appurtenances required for a complete job. Water System Improvements: 2,050 LF 6" C900 PVC Water Main, 56 EA Transfer of Service (Incl. Street & Alley Improvements: 2,400 SY Variable Depth Milling, 310 TN 9.5 MM Asphalt, Driveway Removal & Replacement (Various Materials), 2,205 4' Concrete Sidewalk and additional items and appurtenances required for a complete job. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability". Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond.
