The R.H. Coats Building is a 26-storey office building constructed in 1974. The building is located in the Tunney's Pasture government complex, in Ottawa. PSPC is looking to update all or most of the 26 floors of the R.H. Coats building. To facilitate this renovation workstations with glass panel top pieces have been dismantled and stored for reuse. BGIS is looking for a vendor with a proven history and experience to install safety film onto 230 glass panels of various sizes. The R.H. Coats building is comprised of 26 floors, the ground floor is used as a public lobby .PSPC is looking to update all or most of the 26 floors of the R.H.Coats building. As a precursor to construction all furniture has been dismantled. 4 floors have been designated to store reusefurniture. There are 230 glass panels across these 4 storage floors that will require installation ofsafety film. The safety film is required to reinforce the glass panels as a protective measure to ensure they do not shatter if impacted. All glass panels are encased in a metal frame. To complete installation of safety film the service provider will remove the glass panel from the frame, install the safety film, and refit the glass panel into its frame.
