The Owner anticipates that construction can begin no earlier than ten (10) days after receiving notice of award of contract, or on the date agreed upon with the Engineer. In no case shall any work be commenced prior to receipt of formal notice of award by the Department. The Project shall be completed in its entirety including final site restoration and clean-up on or before July 31st, 2024. A Certified Check or Cashiers Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the bid made payable to the Berrien County Road Commission shall accompany this proposal as guarantee of good faith.
